Liberty Wright is a Bath-based visual artist, specialising in hand-painted lenticular pictures

Liberty cut her teeth working as an assistant to artists Rob Ryan and Victoria Topping, before embarking on her own path into the art world.

Her pictures are meticulously designed and painted to create an optical illusion - as you move across the room, the picture reveals a hidden message. Combining her love of type and traditional sign writing, with a lifelong fascination with the power of words, Liberty creates unique pieces that speak directly to the viewer. 

Liberty has recently completed a year-long residency in The Yellow Gallery in Bath’s famous Walcot Street alongside artist Victoria Topping. She is now based at Bath Artists Studios.
