An ideas-driven artist, Soozy Lipsey has been working across multiple platforms for 20 years, exploring themes of humanity and the absurd, aiming to reveal the endless scope of meaning and relationship available in all experiences. Soozy playfully manipulates everyday objects to tease out often absurdest themes that challenge convention and defamiliarise the familiar. Through a highly personalised visual vocabulary, she invites the viewer to see new things, feel new feelings, and make new connections between ideas, emotion, imagery and experience.
