One of the most recognisable pieces of Banksy ephemera, the Di-Faced Tenner has become an iconic symbol of the artist's early anti-establishment practice. Originally produced in limited numbers in 2004, Banksy's parody banknote replaces Queen Elizabeth II with Princess Diana and the "Bank of England" with "Banksy of England", creating one of the artist's most celebrated and collectible works.
This example comes with provenance from Steve Lazarides, Banksy's former agent and photographer, providing an important and trusted chain of ownership for this highly sought-after piece.
The note is beautifully presented in a chunky black, double-sided frame with art glass, allowing both the front and reverse of the Di-Faced Tenner to be viewed. The frame is designed to be wall mounted or displayed freestanding on a shelf or desk, making it an eye-catching addition to any contemporary art collection.
A rare opportunity to own an authentic piece of Banksy's history, professionally presented and ready to display.
